Investigators are releasing the attached photographs of the suspects and suspect vehicle from the attempted robbery that occurred on Friday, August 31, 2012. On 8-31-12, at about 1700 hours, two black males were observed driving up in a silver Scion XB or Kia Soul and stopping at the business located at 2221 Sturgis Rd. The store was just closing when these subjects entered. One suspect produced a handgun and attempted to obtain money from the clerks. One of the clerks was shot. The suspects fled in the suspect vehicle without taking any property.
The clerk was rushed to Ventura County Medical Center and listed in stable condition.
