DETAILS:
On 11-2-13, at 2346 hours, officers responded to a call of an audible alarm in the 1000 Block of South Ventura Road. Officers found the rear door to the business had been forced open. As officers approached a male subject fled from the business.
Officers gave chase on foot as the suspect continued across Wooley Road and to the 1700 / 1800 Block of Valencia Place. The suspect was located hiding in a trash can to the rear of a residence and taken into custody with the assistance of a police K9. The 15-year old suspect and an officer sustained minor injuries during the arrest.
It appears no property was taken. Officers are looking for a second suspect.
