DETAILS:
At 0237 hours, officers responded to a resident report of subjects in a tan Mercedes sedan selling narcotics. Officers saw the vehicle leaving the area and stopped it at Edgewood Way and “M” Street.
The driver, Hugo Alvarado, 35-year old Oxnard resident, told officers he had a gun in the vehicle. A .22 caliber revolver loaded with blanks was located under the driver’s seat. The driver was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm in a motor vehicle (25400(a)(1) PC and possession of narcotics (11377 H & S).
Two female passengers were arrested for narcotics violations.
