DETAILS:
Gloria Altamirano was shot and killed on a walkway between 710 and 720 Cuesta Del Mar on July 30, 2006 at about 5:30 in the evening. Altamirano was 22 years old at the time of her murder. She was originally from Puebla, Mexico and worked for Colorado Farms LLC in Somis.
Information gathered in this investigation indicates Altamirano was not the intended victim of the shooting. Detectives believe there may be witnesses to this incident who have not yet come forward.
All leads in this case have been exhausted and detectives are asking for the public’s assistance. Anyone with information that leads to the capture and conviction of the suspect is eligible for a reward of $10,000 offered by the city of Oxnard.
