DETAILS:
The first robbery occurred on November 13th, 2013 at 0106 hours. The Oxnard Police Department responded to the 7-11 convenience store located at 2201 East Channel Islands Boulevard regarding a robbery which had just occurred at the business. Upon arrival, Officers were informed by the store employee that an unknown male suspect entered the store armed with a baseball bat and demanded money. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money from the business. The suspect fled on foot prior to officer arrival. The suspect was described as a Hispanic Male, 30-40 years old, 5-06 to 5-09, 150-170 lbs.
On November 16th, 2013 at 0053 hours, the Oxnard Police Department again responded to the same 7-11 convenience store regarding a second armed robbery from the business. Officers were again advised by the store employee that an unknown male suspect entered the store armed with a baseball bat and demanded money. The suspect matched the description of the previous armed robbery which took place on November 13th at the store.
The third armed robbery took place on November 17th, 2013 at 0359 hours. Officers responded to the same 7-11 store. It is believed that the same male suspect entered the store again threatening a baseball bat and demanded money. This time the suspect stole a minimal amount of money. The suspect fled on foot prior to officer arrival. The suspect matched the description of the previous armed robberies which took place earlier in the week.
On November 19th, 2013 at 0030 hours, the 7-11 store was robbed again. It is believed the same male suspect attempted to rob the store. The suspect again entered the store with a baseball bat and demanded money. This time the suspect fled the store without obtaining any money or property. The suspect was again described with a similar description as the previous robberies.
The fifth armed robbery occurred on November 24th, 2013 at 0130 hours Oxnard police responded to a call of another robbery from the 7-11 store. The suspect was again armed with a baseball bat. The suspect made off with a minimal amount of money. The suspect again matched the description of the male in the previous robberies.
The most recent robbery took place on March 10th, 2014 at 0229 hours the 7-11 store. Again an unknown male suspect armed with a metal pipe, entered the store and demanded money. The suspect stole a small amount of undisclosed property during this robbery but did not get away with any money. The suspect again fled on foot prior to officer arrival.
Based on the evidence obtained at the scene, it is believed that all six robberies have been committed by the same individual.
