On Saturday, February 25, 2012 at about 7:17 a.m., the Oxnard PD received information regarding a man who was breaking into a vehicle at 300 Joya Street. Oxnard police officers responded and located the suspect, 19-year-old Jeffrey Estrada. Estrada was in possession of a car stereo which he removed from the victim’s vehicle. Estrada was also in possession of burglary tools and was subsequently arrested.
The specific details provided by the person who called in assisted police in making this arrest. This is a good reminder for any concerned citizen to call 9-1-1 to report suspicious activity.
