DETAILS:
On February 11, 2016 at approximately 5:28 A.M., Oxnard Police Officers responded to the 4700 block of Reeder Avenue, reference a family dispute. When officers arrived, they learned that the suspect had broken into the residence and had threatened a family member with a knife. Suspect Meza fled the scene and was observed by officers on the roof top. Suspect Meza began to jump from roof to roof in attempt to flee from officers. Suspect Meza broke several windows of nearby houses while attempting to flee from officers.
Officers followed the suspect until he was taken into custody on the rooftop of a residence.
