DETAILS:
On March 5, 2014, at about 0008 hours, officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to the corner of Juanita Avenue and First Street to contact a carjacking victim. The victim told officers that he was called to the area to pick up an acquaintance. When he arrived at the intersection, he was confronted by suspect #1 who pointed either a knife or gun at him and told him to get out of the vehicle. He surrendered his vehicle, at which time, the suspect and the female acquaintance fled in the vehicle.
Officers located the vehicle unoccupied in the 4400 Block of Frost Drive. It was recovered for further investigation.
There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
