DETAILS:
On 11/17/13 at approximately 2008 hours, Oxnard police officers were dispatched to the 900 Block of West Iris Street reference a stabbing victim. The victim, a 26 year old male, was stabbed multiple times in the torso. He was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers learned that two Hispanic males, approximately 25 to 30 years of age, approached the victim as he sat in his vehicle when the confrontation began, and started to stab the victim. Two young children were in the back seat of the vehicle during the assault; the children were not harmed.
The investigation is continuing.
