DETAILS:
The Oxnard Police Department District Three Team received donations of 400 turkeys from local businesses and community members to help provide a Thanksgiving meal for the neediest of families in our City. With the assistance of staff from local elementary schools, the Oxnard Police Department was once again able to provide families with certificates that they will redeem on November 25th for one 12 – 20 lb. turkey.
The Oxnard Police Department District Three Team would like to thank the participating businesses that assisted the Oxnard Police Department in reaching our goal of providing 400 turkeys: Reiter Brothers of Oxnard, Lupita’s Bakery, Sam’s Club, Radio Lazer, Whole Foods Pizza Man Dan, Performance Auto, Nacho’s Towing, Anacapa Towing, Paul’s Auto Service, Haros Food Service, Carniceria Hnos Garcia, SP Bros. Transport, Tacos Don Chente, Snooky’s, Costco, Raquel Gomez Insurance, Plaza Mail Center, Carniceria Colima, Oralias Bakery, Vanessa’s Bakery, Farmers Insurance, Carniceria Elras, Shell Gas Station, El Portal Restaurant, Alcaraz Catering, North County Produce Services, and La Vero’s Mexican Food. An anonymous donor has donated bags of food that will be given with the turkeys so that families will have a complete meal. Without all their help and continued support, this event would not have been possible.
