DETAILS:
On 3-10-14, at 1124 hours, officers responded to 1600 Pacific Avenue regarding a possible stolen vehicle in the parking lot. Subjects were seen in and around the vehicle.
Officers located the confirmed stolen vehicle and found Julio Carriedo, 33-year old Oxnard resident, inside the vehicle. Carriedo was arrested without incident and charged with 10852 CVC (vehicle tampering).
Carriedo is a Post Release Offender (PRO). The Post Release Offender Program releases non-violent, non-sexual, and non-serious offense criminals from State Prison pursuant to Assembly Bill 109.
An investigation is continuing.
