DETAILS:
ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2007, AT APPROXIMATELY 0600 HOURS, OFFICERS FROM THE OXNARD POLICE DEPARTMENT RESPONDED TO A POSSIBLE SEXUAL ASSAULT THAT HAD JUST OCCURRED. THE VICTIM WAS LOCATED AND TOLD POLICE THE FOLLOWING: SHE HAS A VALID DOMESTIC VIOLENCE RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST THE SUSPECT. SUSPECT GOES TO THE VICTIM’S HOUSE AND PRESSURES THE VICTIM INTO GIVING HIM A RIDE TO A COUPLE DIFFERENT LOCATIONS. THE SUSPECT TOOK THE IGNITION KEY FROM THE VICTIM’S VEHICLE AND FORCIBLY TOOK HER CELL PHONE FROM HER AS SHE ATTEMPTED TO CALL THE POLICE. THE SUSPECT LATER PULLED THE VICTIM INTO A GARAGE WHERE HE SEXUALLY ASSAULTED HER.

ON DECEMBER 12, 2007, AT APPROXIMATELY 0400 HOURS, OFFICER MICHAEL ROBISON OBSERVES THE SUSPECT RIDING A BICYCLE IN THE 1000 BLK OF SOUTH OXNARD BLVD. THE SUSPECT IS CONTACTED AND TAKEN INTO CUSTODY WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE SUBJECT WAS BOOKED AT THE VENTURA COUNTY JAIL FOR THE ABOVE LISTED CHARGES. BAIL IS SET AT 1,000,000.

An investigation is continuing.

At approximately 11:40 this morning a 34 year old Oxnard woman reported through our 911 system that she had just been assaulted in her home. Officers quickly responded to an apartment complex in the 3100 block of Peninsula Road and contacted the victim.

She reported that someone had knocked on her door, and upon answering the door she found a man standing there.  He spoke to her briefly in Spanish and as she attempted to explain that she did not understand Spanish he forced his way into the apartment, knocked her to the floor, struck her and climbed on top of her.

Moments later the woman’s pet, a 16 year old sheepdog, came to her assistance. There was a scuffle between the suspect and the dog and the suspect may have been bitten.  At that point he ran from the apartment.

The woman described her assailant as a Hispanic male, approximately 35 year of age.  He was approximately 5’ 7” and weighed about 130 lbs. He spoke Spanish and was wearing blue jeans with some mud on them, a black hooded sweatshirt, and work boots. He was wearing sunglasses with square frames.

The victim stated that she does not know the suspect.

SUSPECT(S):	Suspect #1- H/M 19 years, 5-7” 160 lbs. thin build, short dark hair, wearing a gray “T” shirt, blue jeans, and gray converse shoes, carrying a dark colored handgun. Suspect #2- H/M 18-19 years, 5-6” heavy build, short dark hair, clean shaven, wearing a black “T” shirt with light green and gray plaid shorts. Suspect# 3- H/M, juvenile, wearing a white long sleeve “T” shirt. Suspect #4- H/M, juvenile, unknown clothing.

DETAILS:

On 04/26/2011 at approximately 1800 hours the four victims were on foot walking southbound on Graves Ave. at Avenida Classica. They were approached from behind by the four suspects.

One suspect produced a small handgun as the suspects stopped the victims and asked for their cell phones. After obtaining the victim’s property, the suspects were last seen fleeing north bound on foot on Graves Ave. towards Pajaro St. None of the victims were injured during the robbery.

DETAILS:

On 06-24-2011 Officers observed Juan Pina as he attempted to steal over 100 gallons of gasoline. Pina was using an electric pump to siphon gasoline from the underground storage tanks into a large water storage container inside of his vehicle. There have been at least five similar thefts from the same location over the last 30 days. The Oxnard Fire Department is currently on scene handling the vehicle as a Haz-Mat situation. The property of Wooley Gas is the only area affected while the Haz-Mat team continues their investigation.
