DETAILS:
On March 15, 2016 at approximately 3:29 PM, officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to the area of Hueneme Road and Saviers Road regarding several calls reporting shots fired. Officers located a 19 year old Oxnard resident suffering from two gunshot wounds in the area.
The victim was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition.
Investigators are still working to determine a motive for the shooting.
