At approximately 12:40 a.m. Oxnard officers responded to a burglary in progress at the Town and Country Market in the 600 block of W. First St. While officers were on scene three of the four suspects exited the business and gave up without incident. As the officers and K9 were clearing the interior of the business an additional juvenile suspect fell through the ceiling tiles and suffered minor injuries from his fall.
The two adult suspects were identified as Jacob Castellanos and Eduardo Vega both 18 years of age. They were both arrested and booked at Ventura County Jail. The identities of the two juveniles are being withheld. It is believed that the suspects may have forced entry into the business through an air vent on the roof.
