DETAILS: On April 27, 2016 at approximately 5:00 a.m., officers and detectives from the Oxnard Police Department along with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, Ventura Police Department and California State Parole, served simultaneous gang related search warrants at multiple locations in the City of Oxnard. The gang search warrants were a result of ongoing investigations related to recent gang shootings in the City of Oxnard.
At the conclusion of the search warrants, three adults were arrested: Richard Chairez-possession of a loaded firearm, prohibited person in possession of a firearm, and prohibited person in possession of ammunition; Javier Flores – Child Endangerment related to the location of a firearm; Robert Delacerda – Violation of his parole terms, specifically, possession of drugs for sale.
