On April 15, 2024, at approximately 11:45 p.m., the Oxnard Police Department communications center received a call of a shooting victim in a vehicle at the intersection of Yucca St and “F” St. Oxnard Police Officers responded to the area and located a 17-year-old male Oxnard resident suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Officers located evidence of the shooting in the 4200 block of South “G” St.
Investigators from the Oxnard Police Department Violent Crimes Unit assumed responsibility for the investigation. The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
