DETAILS: (Oxnard, Calif) – On December 5, 2017, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Oxnard police officers responded to a report of a stabbing victim in the 300 block of North Rose Avenue. The police officers arrived on scene and located the victim, 26-year old Jesus Pizano, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Pizano was transported by ambulance to the Ventura County Medical Center and listed in critical condition. Despite the life-saving efforts of the medical staff, Pizano died on December 8, 2017, at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Pizano’s death is being investigated as a homicide. The Oxnard Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation. Detectives advise there is no clear motive at this time.
This is Oxnard’s fifteenth (15) homicide of the year.
