Officers contacted the owner of the vehicle and learned that the vehicle was left unattended with the engine running. Approximately 15 minutes later, a detective from the Oxnard Police Department’s Auto Theft Task Force observed the vehicle being driven in the area of Sarita Drive and First Street.
