DETAILS:
On June 11, at approximately 5:40 p.m., officers from the Special Enforcement Unit and K-9 unit contacted Joseph Montoya at the intersection of Courtland St. and Campbell Wy. During the contact, the officers discovered that Montoya had a handgun concealed on his person. The officers removed the handgun and Montoya was arrested for possessing a concealed, loaded handgun. Officers conducted a records check on the serial number from the handgun and learned that it had been reported stolen.
