DETAILS:
On November 4th, 2018, at approximately 8:10 p.m., officers from the Oxnard Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1200 block of South Oxnard Blvd. The driver, Onorio Borquez, was found to be driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and arrested for DUI. Borquez was also found to have Cocaine on his person. During the investigation, a loaded .22 caliber rifle with a high capacity magazine was found in the vehicle Borquez was driving.
Onorio Borquez, a 26 year old Oxnard resident, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and being in possession of a loaded firearm and narcotics, a felony.
