DETAILS:
On September 26, 2019 at approximately 1:05 A.M., officers with the Oxnard Police Department were dispatched to the Subway Restaurant, located at 645 South Ventura Road, in reference to a stabbing victim. Upon arrival, officers located a 38 year old female who had been stabbed multiple times. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life threatening wounds.
Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit continued the investigation. During the course of the investigation, Randy Magallon, a 19 year old Oxnard resident, was identified as the suspect. On September 27, 2019, investigators located Magallon at the Ventura County Juvenile Justice Center. He was contacted in the parking lot and taken into custody without incident. He was later booked at the Ventura County Jail for attempted murder.
