On January 15, at about 9:20 p.m. officers contacted Antonio Rodriguez, who was riding a bike in the area of Saviers Road and Fir Avenue. Rodriguez is on probation with search terms. During a pat down search, Rodriguez attempted to pull away from officers and flee. A loaded handgun fell from his pants during the struggle.
Further investigation indicated that Rodriguez is a prohibited person and has prior convictions for a violent felony and firearms charges. He was arrested for various firearms related charges.
