DETAILS:
(Oxnard, Calif) – On February 9, 2020, at about 4:00 P.M., Oxnard police officers responded to the mobile home park located at 1301 Commercial Avenue regarding a possible gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they located a 45 year old male Hispanic suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his lower body. The male was immediately transported to the hospital. He was listed in critical condition at the time of this release. Additionally, officers located a 31 year old Hispanic male lying in a nearby shed, close to where the first gunshot wound victim was located. Additional EMS arrived on scene and began emergency life saving measures. Unfortunately, the second male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
While this incident was unfolding, additional officers were notified of a possible third gunshot victim in the area of the 1400 block of Pine Street. Officers located a third gunshot wound victim, a 33 year old Hispanic male in the area. The third victim had one non-life threatening gunshot wound to his arm. He was also transported to the local hospital for medical assistance.
The motive for this shooting is unknown. It appears that additional parties may have been involved. The investigation into this incident is still on-going.

The City of Oxnard offers a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for committing homicides within the City.
