DETAILS:
On November 23, 2017, at approximately 8:58 a.m., officers responded to a call received reference shots fired in the area of the Halaco Plant at 6200 Perkins Road. Prior to the officer’s arrival, a call was received reference a shooting victim and an assault victim being transported in a personal vehicle to the hospital. Officers met up with the vehicle transporting the victims and provided assistance until medical personnel arrived. A 23 year old male was suffering from a minor gunshot wound to the leg and a 26 year old male was suffering from minor head trauma. Both victims were transported to the Ventura County Medical Center (VCMC) where they were listed in stable condition. Detectives are attempting to locate any witnesses and the investigation is ongoing.
