SUBJECT: Missing Person LOCATION: 200 block South E Street, Oxnard MISSING PERSON: Victor Frutos II, 47-year-old, Oxnard Resident CONTACT: Scott Aaron, Sergeant (805) 385-7756 | Scott.Aaron@Oxnardpd.org The Missing Persons Unit (805) 385-7629 On Sunday, September 18, 2022, at about 10:00 A.M., Victor Frutos left his residence with an acquaintance, and he was last seen getting into a primer black older model Chrysler or Dodge van with sliding doors. Mr. Frutos’ whereabouts are unknown, and his family is searching for him. Victor Frutos is a 47-year-old Hispanic male, 5’8, 125 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black t-shirt, gray sweat pants, gray Adidas shoes, and a spiked arm bracelet. Mr. Frutos’ family reported him missing on Tuesday night, September 20, 2022. According to his family, Mr. Frutos may have the mental capacity of a 14-15-year-old but was living independently. Detectives with the Oxnard Police Department’s Family Protection Unit are working with his family to locate him. There is no indication that Mr. Frutos is missing due to foul play or criminal wrongdoing. The Oxnard Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mr. Frutos.
