On September 10, 2017, at about 12:29 A.M., officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Glenwood Drive. When the officers arrived they located the vehicle occupied by Joey Dennis, 27 year old Oxnard resident. Dennis was on probation and during the search of his vehicle, officers located a loaded firearm and illegal narcotics.
Dennis was arrested and later booked into the Ventura County Jail for various weapon and drug violations.
